Volkswagen Qatar Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

    Volkswagen Qatar collaborates with the Qatar Cancer Society to raise awareness against breast cancer in Qatar

 

For the month of October, Volkswagen Qatar, will participate in"  Blossom “ campaign launched  by Qatar Cancer Society, in a month-long campaign dedicated to eradicating breast cancer by raising awareness among the Qatar community

 

During the campaign, the Volkswagen dealership will be decorated with pink-ribbons and the staff will wear the pink ribbon lapel pins and distribute flyers to visiting customers and family in order to educate about breast cancer and the need for early detection and treatment for a successful recovery from the disease. 

 

“We are honoured by the association and recognition by the Qatar Cancer Society, and we are proud to join their mission to end this deadly disease, by supporting their campaign to raise further awareness within our community,” said Mr Ahmad Shariefi, Operational Director, Q-Auto L.L.C.

 

Zakariya Karazoun- Marketing and Partnership Officer at Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) said “In the month of October, we launch the "Blossom“   campaign  which  aims to raise awareness  about  breast cancer and emphasize the importance of periodic examination for the early detection. We hope this important campaign will spread the culture and knowledge of healthy lifestyle and ways to prevent this desease for future generations.“.

 

Karazoun  thanked  Q-Auto L.L.C for their campaign support and initiatives, and invited all community members to participate in the campaign which continues throughout the month.
