Doha, October, 2019 – Q-Auto L.L.C, the official dealer of Audi in the state of Qatar observes the pink October in generating awareness about Breast cancer.
Audi Qatar, in association with the Qatar Cancer Society, observes Pink October in recognition of the breast cancer awareness month, which aims to increase the attention, support and awareness for the early detection of treatment as well as palliative care of this disease.
As a part of the campaign the showroom and cars will be decorated with custom made pink ribbons, and furthermore, the management has encouraged the staff to wear pink ribbon label pins throughout the month in order to express the support and to raise awareness among the customers, staff and their families.
Mr. Ahmad Shariefi, the Operations Director of Q-Auto L.L.C, commented: "Pink October campaign and the association with Qatar Cancer Society is a part of the brand's commitment to join the movement in promoting awareness against the breasts cancer in the community." He also added that the early detection of breast cancer is critical for surviving breast cancer, and hence, we hope that our awareness campaign against breast cancer will make a lasting difference in the Qatar community.
Zakariya Karazoun, Marketing and Partnership Officer at Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) said “This event comes within the "Blossom campaign” which was launched by the Qatar Cancer Society launched during the month of October to raise awareness about breast cancer and emphasize the importance of periodic examination for the early detection and spreading the culture of healthy life style to prevent it.”
Karazoun thanked Q-Auto L.L.C for their support QCS's campaigns and initiatives, and invited all community members to participate in the campaign which continue throughout the month.
